The Eye Of A Clown

This is all about my love for pop art and Andy Warhol and things not being what they seem. This is manipulation, but when I manipulate I work very hard to have the material and have it be justified.

You really shouldn’t be looking at this on a screen on the Internet as much as you should see this four-foot-by-five-foot behind glass matted with a light so it really pops out at you in this reality. So, this is a digital photo, but is it what it seems or is it not what it seems? And just apply that to you when you’re the artist; am I what I seem or not? That’s my experiment.

Push it, push it. Continuously push it to the point of almost fear in the belief of what you’re doing. What is right? What is wrong? We gotta understand more than they tell us. it doesn’t mean dark roads. It doesn’t mean holy roads. It just means your own road, your own originality, what you can come up with on your own. So, this is what I come up with on my own through the inspirations of my gods — Andy Warhol, Cezanne, Gauguin, Seurat, whoever. I won’t tell you what the object is. I’ll just say whatever you think it is, it probably is.
