The Eye Of A Clown

There will be a stage of my life where I shoot nudes and exotic photography. I’m really into that because of the beautifulness of the reality of childbirth and the intimateness of man and woman and what I believe is the finest thing we do on this earth. I went up on this slide several times before and after taking the photo just to put my energy into it — to be up and down the canal. So I try to go back and forth.

When I’m out on the road I bring my Polaroid and my digital camera, and I take people out and we find it, and this is what I found and shot with a digital. I got this in Germany and I took it after soundcheck at about 6 p.m. or so. It was just getting to be sundown and it was just beautiful. It was a mound made out of brick with stairs and this giant vagina for children to go up and down on, as well as adults from America, who are just down the street playing heavy metal music. Go figure.
