Slipknot Nominated For Echo Award!

Congratulations go out to the band this week for their announcement as a nominee in the 2009 Echo Awards in the category Best Group International - Rock/Alternative. The band is nominated alongside AC/DC, Metallica, REM and 3 Doors Down. For those unfamiliar with the Echo Awards, they are the most important music awards in Germany, so they are comparable to the Grammys here. It is a great honor for Slipknot to be nominated and they send out their thanks to everyone who helped make it possible.
